Classroom Grant Terms and Conditions
Receive an entry to win a US $500 Classroom Assistance Grant by nominating your most talented music students for selection to the Honors Performance Series.
Current music teachers who nominate at least one young musician meeting the eligibility guidelines for the Honors Performance Series are eligible to receive the Classroom Grant. Each nominee must be a student in US grades 6-12 (or international equivalent) during the 2025-2026 school year to be eligible for the Series. Nominees will be notified of their nomination and the opportunity to apply for selection. Nomination does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
Nominators are responsible for knowing and complying with state laws and school policies regarding acceptance, disclosure, and use of financial rewards and prizes. The right is reserved to substitute prizes of an equal or lesser value.

Winners will be announced by February 28, 2026.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Grant is open to legal United States and Canadian residents who are employed as a music teacher or conductor in the United States or Canada. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All entries to win the Grant must be received by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on January 31st, 2026. Winners will be notified on or before February 28, 2026. Eligibility: Contest is open to legal United States and Canadian residents who are employed as music teachers or conductors. All federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Awarding of Grant: Teachers will receive one entry per unique qualified nomination received and accepted by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on January 31st, 2026. The Series reserves the right to accept or reject any nomination. Entries will be applied toward a drawing for a US $500 Classroom Assistance Grant to be used to support music education in the teacher’s classroom. The Classroom Assistance Grant will be payable by check to the recipient and is understood to be used directly for classroom education needs. Recipients of the Grants will be selected by random drawing. All decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries that are received. The recipient of the Classroom Grants will be notified by email and/or telephone by February 28, 2026, and Recipients' names will be announced on the Honors Performance Series Facebook page. If winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to accept prize within 3 business days, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be chosen.
The Series reserves the right to adjust acceptance, drawing, and announcement dates should it choose to extend the offer. Any adjustments to offer dates will be posted in the offer Terms and Conditions posted on the Series website at www.honorsperformance.org/classroomgrant.
