Looking for a way to extend the fun of your Honors Performance Series experience? Our Sightseeing Extensions allow Finalists or Finalists and their loved ones to add three additional nights to their stay! An experienced guide and Series staff will be your host as you explore more of what Australia has to offer, including a full-day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef!
Note: The Sightseeing Extension is offered only as the complete 4-day program. Individual itinerary events cannot be purchased separately.

Registration Details
- Finalists can enroll themselves and/or loved ones in the Series Sightseeing Extension via their my.honorsperformance.org performer portal following acceptance.
- Enrollment in the Sightseeing Extension is subject to the same program Terms and Conditions and Standard Cancellation Policy acknowledged during the Finalist's online enrollment.
- Participants have the option to satisfy the full program expense upon enrollment or may include the Sightseeing Extension cost in the Finalist's payment plan.
Sightseeing Extension Inclusions
The Sightseeing Extension includes the following for each participant:
- Admissions and motorcoach transportation for all activities outlined in the itinerary
- One-way airline transportation from Sydney to Cairns
- Experienced staff to accompany you to program activities and support you during your stay
- 24-hour staffed emergency phone number to handle the unexpected
- Doctors on Call arrangement for US-based medical support while on the program
- Three nights' lodging in the Series hotel (double occupancy)
Please Note: Participants are responsible for their own meals and transportation to Sydney for the Series and from Cairns for the Sightseeing Extension.
Sightseeing Extension Itinerary
The Honors Performance Series Sightseeing Extension provides an opportunity for Finalists and their loved ones to add to their Series experience with additional sightseeing and cultural activities. Participants receive the support of a professional guide and the peace of mind that comes with the Series' embedded insurance and 24-hour emergency and medical support.
Please note that all itineraries are tentative and subject to change.
Sightseeing Extension Sample Itinerary

Day 1
- Free time for breakfast
- Enjoy extended time at local Sydney beaches
- Lunch and sightseeing
- Guided tours of local attractions
- Free time and dinner
- Night ghost tour
Day 2
- Free time for breakfast
- Depart Sydney by plane to Cairns (air transportation provided)
- Free time for lunch
- Meet your guide for a tour of Cairns, including the Esplanade and City Center, and discover local wildlife
- Evening free time in Cairns
Day 3
- Free time for breakfast
- Full-day excursion at the Great Barrier Reef
- Experience a unique full day outer reef adventure to Moore Reef, where your air-conditioned catamaran docks alongside a floating pontoon stationed permanently in a natural lagoon fringed with beautiful coral. You will have exclusive access to this secluded section of Moore Reef, being the only boat around. Create your own experience … and do as much or as little as you want. With four hours docked on the pontoon, the marine biologists, dive instructors, qualified lifeguards and cruise attendants are all onboard to ensure you get the best experience. Included activities are snorkeling, semi-submersible and glass bottom boat tours, touch tank presentations, waterslide, underwater observatory viewing, and a tropical buffet lunch.
- For the more adventurous: Scuba Diving, the Seawalker Helmet Dive and Guided Snorkeling tours can be self-arranged on the day for an additional cost.
- Lunch provided on the catamaran
- A group dinner will conclude the evening
Day 4
- Farewell and return to airport
- Departure for home from Cairns (air transportation not included)
