Music Program Highlights
Big dreams start young, and the Middle School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall is where rising talent starts an unforgettable first act.
Exclusive to the selected 6th–8th grade musicians from around the world, this program sets the stage for students to rehearse and perform under the guidance of master conductors in New York City’s iconic Carnegie Hall.
More than just another middle school music program, it’s a chance to connect with peers who share the same love for music in the magic of New York City.
A Stage Steeped in History
Carnegie Hall first opened its doors in 1891 and quickly became the standard for musical excellence. This historic stage, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, is the destination for the world’s finest musicians who aspire to perform on the stage once graced by the presence of musical greats like Tchaikovsky, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Judy Garland, The Beatles, Yo-Yo Ma, and many more. Honors Performance Series musicians treasure the opportunity to perform on the world-renowned Perelman Stage inside the Stern Auditorium.
