YOUNG ADULT | CARNEGIE HALL

Family Programs

Family and friends are invited to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime musical experience through participation in one of two Honors Family Programs.

Parents, family members, and friends are welcome to join selected Finalists by enrolling in one of our Family Programs or purchasing individual tickets to the performance.

The Honors Family Programs have been designed to allow supporters to stay in New York with their Finalist and attend select program events that are otherwise closed to non-performers (a rehearsal, New York City events, touring with Finalists, Finalist Celebration, etc.). A priority ticket to the Honors Performance at Carnegie Hall is included in both Family Program packages—additional non-priority tickets are also available to the public through the Carnegie Hall box office.

Note: Family Programs are offered only as full programs and cannot be sold as individual components.

Registration for the 2023 Family Programs will be announced with Finalist acceptances in October. Please refer to the Finalist acceptance email sent in late October.

Registration Details

  • All Finalists will be given the opportunity to enroll loved ones in the Series Family Programs via their my.honorsperformance.org student portal beginning approximately November 2022.
  • Family Program participants under 22 may attend only if accompanied by a participant aged 22 or older. For safety reasons, Finalists may not leave their Chaperone unless checked out by an authorized adult above the age of 25.
  • Finalists should not register for the Family Program. They have been automatically registered for the Finalist program through the application and selection process.
  • Enrollment in the Family Program is subject to the same program Terms and Conditions and Standard Cancellation Policy acknowledged during the Finalist's online enrollment.

Family Program Itineraries

The two Family Program packages are designed so allow family, friends, and educators can share in a fuller Honors Performance Series experience while also providing time to explore New York City. Since most Series rehearsals are closed, there are other activities and free time included in the Family Program packages to supplement. Both itineraries provide an opportunity to experience the best of New York's sights and culture. Please note: All itineraries are tentative and subject to change.

This was by far the most memorable and special experience to my daughter. The program lived up to its name and credits. She made wonderful friends and lifetime memories.
